BIG SIS TIPS
Things I wish someone told me before my first solo trip
01 Being scared is normal. It doesn’t mean don’t go.
02 Solo travelers are everywhere. You’re never the only one.
03 Pick hostels with common spaces. That’s where friendships start.
04 Just be yourself. The right people will find you.
05 Let go of expectations. The unplanned moments are best.

MY STORY
The small-town girl who explored the world
I grew up in a small, conservative town in Indiana, where the rest of the world felt very far away. After COVID, I suddenly felt this urge to travel, and when I couldn’t find anyone to join me... I went alone. First to Europe, then to Asia, and I haven’t been able to stop since.
Somewhere between the hostel bunk beds and the night buses, I fell in love with wonder and with meeting strangers. I discovered layers of myself that my familiar surroundings never would have let unfold.
That’s why I started Londy B: to help anyone who’s curious about solo travel but doesn’t know someone who’s done it, or who just wants a little more guidance. I’m sharing everything I’ve done and learned so you can show up more prepared than I was. But let me tell you, even underprepared, it’s all part of your own journey. And it’s been the best experience of my life.
